What is InstanCharge?
InstanCharge is a trademark used by the company Ubiquishare Pty Ltd in its power bank rental businesses. Ubiquishare is a company that is focused on the development of the sharing economy across areas such as charging and advertising. InstanCharge is dedicated to providing power bank rental services to customers who urgently need to charge their phones in cafes, restaurants and malls. InstanCharge rent out power banks via power bank rental stations which are connected to the InstanCharge App.
Our Vision and Mission
InstanCharge is dedicated to addressing and mitigating the common but urgent problem of phones running out of battery while being outside without a charger. Nowadays, phones have become an integral and essential part of our life as we become more and more reliant on them everyday for essential services such as calling, payment and even travel. However, such an important device is extremely susceptible to running out of charge due to a degrading battery capacity or simply just forgetting to charge at home. Running out of charge while being outside for dinner or shopping can have very annoying problems especially when people don't bring their chargers or power banks with them.
To solve or at least mitigate such problem in Australia, InstanCharge is planning to place hundreds, or maybe even thousands in the future, of power bank rental stations in restaurants, cafe and malls across Australia that can automatically rent out power banks to people currently at the price of just 1.5 dollars/30 minutes by just scanning the QR code on the app. Customers can view the location of the power bank rental stations on the map of the app and go to the nearest rental station to rent power banks to charge their phones. How does InstanCharge distribute its power bank rental stations?
InstanCharge first find locations that are the most popular and have the greatest customer flow and then cooperate with restaurant/cafe/ bar owners there to place our power bank rental stations and rent out power banks inside their business place. In return the business owners will receive a percentage of the revenue generated from the rental station as their additional source of income.
How does InstanCharge cooperate with businesses?
The cooperation model works like this: InstanCharge provides businesses with our power bank rental station without any cost while business owners provide a free-of-charge and appropriate place inside the restaurant/cafe/shopping mall to put and plug in the rental station. InstanCharge is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the station and the app while businesses is responsible for paying the electricity cost of the rental station (which is negligible, generally less than a dollar a month).
Businesses can check revenue generated by the rental station from the designated InstanCharge backend website. InstanCharge will check and confirm the monthly revenue and pay the business an agreed percentage of that revenue.
